The Waterfront Guest House is situated right on the banks of the Vaal River in the beautiful town of Parys- a mere 110 km on the N1 freeway from Johannesburg. The house is in a quiet area of Parys, but only 2 km from the centre of the town.

The Waterfront Guest House comprises seven rooms, en-suite bathrooms, a self- contained flat and a fabulous bridal suite with a spa bath, separate outside entrance, kitchen and private braai area. All rooms have been fitted with modern air conditioners, Dstv, fridges and a tea and coffee tray. Uncapped free Wi-Fi is available. Safe parking on the premises is provided. All guests have access to the main kitchen.

The enclosed pool is heated in summer and there is a braai area next to the pool.

Parys is a fun town. There are excellent restaurants. Outdoor facilities include river rafting, fishing, golf on 2 modern excellent golf courses, walking trails, canoeing, gliding, parachute jumping, birding and much more. Parys is known for its art shops and galleries, also selling antique furniture.

Parys is situated in the Vredefort Dome, a world heritage site. It is the oldest and biggest crater impact site in the world. A visit to the hills forming the rim of the inner crater, through which the Vaal flows, offers a scenic drive for a few relaxing hours.
